In 2014, we launched our Industrial Operations and Product Supply (IOPS) facility in Raheen, Limerick, to produce medicines for patients around the world.
Driven by a team of specialists in commercial manufacturing, process sciences, quality assurance, quality control and supply chain, supported by the IT, human resources, finance and procurement functions, we transformed a vacant manufacturing site into a 64,000 square metre, world-class production facility.
Along with the rest of our global team, we provide critical medicines to people with serious diseases worldwide.

Our leadership
Niall O'Leary is Senior Vice President and Site Head for Industrial Operations and Product Supply (IOPS) in Limerick.
A native of Kerry, Niall worked in the United States for 20 years for a number of life sciences companies, most notably Pulmatrix, Alkermes, Organogenesis and Serono, where he gained extensive experience in biopharma operations, product development, project management and regulatory affairs. Niall joined Regeneron’s IOPS team in the Rensselaer, NY location in 2012, where he led the Inspection Management Team. In 2014, Niall moved back home to Ireland to lead the development of the IOPS Limerick site, the largest-scale bulk biologics production facility in Ireland.
Niall earned a Bachelors degree in biotechnology from Dublin City University and an Executive MBA from Xavier University.
