SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES
BUILD A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
Our approach to building sustainable communities
Our commitment to a better world extends beyond our labs. Making the world healthier through the medicines we invent goes hand-in-hand with our commitment to a healthy planet. Through our environmental education, economic development and employee-volunteerism, we work within our company and communities to positively improve our collective future.
We also aim to reduce our environmental impact by integrating sustainability into all aspects of our business. We are a global leader in STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) initiatives that prepare students for science careers, and we make investments to support economic development in the areas where we live and work.
Leading in Community Involvement
As we expand in Ireland, so does our social impact. We support various STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) initiatives, employee volunteerism and other meaningful causes through our Regeneron in the Community programme.

Regeneron Ireland acquired Roche Castle in 2018. This important historic entity dates back to circa 1830. Following significant investment and extensive renovations, the restored castle was unveiled during National Heritage Week 2022.
Giving back to our communities
Day for Doing Good gives teams across the world the opportunity to volunteer in their communities. Organisations receive support. Teams build connections. And everyone has great fun—all while supporting worthwhile causes.

Regeneron and all of our employees aim to facilitate future growth, be good environmental stewards and have a positive impact on our communities. Sustainable practices are integrated into our business strategy and our culture. As we continue developing innovative medicines and growing our team, we remain mindful of our environmental impact and we continuously look at ways where we can reasonably decrease our footprint. With this goal in mind, every individual is held accountable for complying with our environmental strategies.
We have set global environmental targets in four key areas to help inform our choices and actions, all with the aim of reducing our environmental footprint and building sustainable communities as we grow.

As we grow, we are mindful of our environmental footprint and the impact on our local communities, and proactively seek environmentally responsible ways to better operate our business.
